MO Equity Education Partnership's Teach-In Townhall

Join us as we give teachers from various districts across the area the opportunity to present a lesson that uses equity-based strategies and information to educate students about specific topics. You may visit any “room” to observe the lesson and ask questions that lead to understanding. We will review expectations for engagement and rules of proper interactions before we begin the demonstrations.

Join us for our first Equity Fair, hosted by In Purpose Educational Services and the MO Equity Education Support Group. Bring your entire family out for a day of fun and information. We will have games, activities, and prizes for the kids; a discussion with some of our local and state legislators about how equity benefits our community, a question and answer session with our best local educators; and raffles and fun for the adults as well. Visit tables to find out more about local organizations doing equity work around the area, network with some of our local voices for equity, and shop with numerous vendors and crafters around the area. There is something fun for everyone!

Entry and many of the activities are free to everyone!

Table spaces are free to any equity-based organizations that want to meet the public and provide a positive representation of equity work to them. Just email Heather Fleming at [email protected] with your organization’s name, contact, and type of work, and we will reserve you an area. You must provide your own table and canopy for the event.
