Heather Fleming, Founder and director
Heather’s reason for founding In Purpose and doing this work stems from her experiences as a wife and mother, as well as her role as friend and teacher to people of diverse races, religions, sexual orientations, etc. Her desire to bring people together and allow them to enjoy the fullness of an equitable society drives her work and her passion for change.
Delaney Rhea, Assistant Director
Delaney’s reason for doing this work is her family: their diverse identities and, in some cases, lack of diverse experiences. She hopes to increase the opportunities for her children to be exposed to people of various identities and to teach them and others about the power of equity and inclusion.
Katie Sesti, executive Manager
The work that Katie does for In Purpose helps her to reach her goal of raising her sons to be antiracists and to use their abilities to make our community better for everyone. She uses her skills and talents to support IPES’s webinars and training while gleaning important information to teach her children.
